Tom Lloyd is Partner in the Firm’s London office, where he is a member of the Firm's Banking and Credit and Real Estate practices. Tom advises clients on an array of credit transactions and financial instruments, as well as cross-border finance issues, with a focus on sponsor driven real estate investments. Some of Tom’s clients include Blackstone, Goldentree Asset Management, Biomed, Northwood Investors and TPG Capital. Consistently recognized as a leading practitioner, Tom was recently named a 2020 "Rising Star” in Real Estate by Law360, a "Rising Star” in Private Equity by Legal Week in both 2019 and 2020, and has been ranked in Real Estate Finance - London by Chambers UK as well as in Real Estate: Property Finance by The Legal 500 UK.

Tom recently advised Blackstone in the financing of its acquisition of a €27 billion Spanish loan portfolio, the financing of various European urban logistics assets purchased by Blackstone with an aggregate TEV of more than €5 billion and the €2 billion refinancing of Testa Residential SOCIMI, which holds a Spanish residential portfolio of more than 10,000 units. In addition, Tom also advises corporate and private equity clients on financial instruments, cross-border finance issues and credit matters across a broad range of industries.

Tom received a Diploma in Legal Practice, with Distinction, in 2005 from Nottingham Law School and his LL.B. degree from the University of Sheffield in 2004. He is admitted to practice in England and Wales as of 2008.
