Shamus Crosby is a Partner in our Houston office, where he specializes in mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors. Shamus regularly represents private equity firms and corporations in a variety of public and private acquisition and divestiture transactions, as well as joint ventures and structured financing transactions. His experience in the energy and infrastructure sectors includes renewable power generation and storage, upstream and midstream oil and gas, LNG, energy transition, telecommunications, digital infrastructure and transportation.

Shamus Crosby is a Partner in our Houston office, where he specializes in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and structured financing transactions. Shamus advises many of the world’s largest private equity firms on transactions in the energy and infrastructure space.  Shamus is particularly focused on the digital infrastructure and energy sectors, with significant experience advising on transactions involving data centers, broadband fiber infrastructure, public utilities, renewable and other sustainable energy assets, midstream and LNG.  

Shamus has been highly ranked by Chambers USA and recognized for his corporate transactional work by IFLR1000.

Recent experience includes representation of:

  • KKR on numerous transactions, including:
    • Its multi-billion dollar joint venture with T-Mobile to acquire Metronet, the fastest growing pure play fiber company in the U.S.
    • Its $3.38 billion acquisition of a non-controlling interest in Sempra Infrastructure Partners
    • Its acquisition of a non-controlling interest in Port Arthur LNG Phase 1
    • Its $1.19 billion CAD investment in Labrador Island Link
    • Its acquisition of Boasso Global, the premier provider of depot, maintenance, cleaning, and transportation services for ISO tank containers in North America and Boasso’s subsequent merger with Q Super Holdings, Inc.
  • DigitalBridge as a lead investor in Vantage Data Center’s $9.2 billion equity recapitalization
