Spencer began his career at Simpson Thacher in 2014. Prior to rejoining the Firm in 2022, he was Counsel at an international sovereign wealth fund.
Spencer received his J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2014, Order of the Coif, where he was Managing Editor of the Texas Law Review. He received his B.A. in English and Political Science from Loyola University, Chicago in 2011.
