Simpson Thacher represented Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated in an offering of $50 million in aggregate principal amount of 8.3% Senior Notes due 2022 (the “Notes”) by Star Bulk Carriers Corp. (“Star Bulk”). Proceeds from the offering are expected to be used to redeem all of its outstanding 8% Senior Unsecured Notes due 2019.
Star Bulk is an international shipping company with extensive operational experience that owns and operates a fleet of dry bulk carrier vessels.
