Simpson Thacher is advising The Carlyle Group (“Carlyle”) in connection with its strategic partnership with Korea Investment & Securities, through which Korea Investment & Securities will invest approximately $300 million in funds operated by Carlyle and will gain access to approximately $4 billion in overseas credit products. Through the partnership, Korea Investment & Securities aims to expand its international offerings and establish a pipeline for retail product development.
Carlyle is a global investment firm with $385 billion in assets under management and deep industry expertise that deploys private capital across its business and conducts its operations through three business segments: Global Private Equity, Global Credit and Global Investment Solutions.
