Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in $2.35 Billion Debt Offering by Philip Morris International

The Firm represented the underwriters in connection with a registered public offering by Philip Morris International Inc. of $2.35 billion of its Notes, consisting of $650 million of its 5.25% Notes due 2028, $700 million of its 5.5% Notes due 2030 and $1 billion of its 5.625% Notes due 2033. The offering closed on September 7, 2023.

Philip Morris International is leading a transformation in the tobacco industry to create a smoke-free future and ultimately replace cigarettes with smoke-free products to the benefit of adults who would otherwise continue to smoke, society, the company and its shareholders.
