Simpson Thacher was selected as Law.com International’s “Banking and Finance Firm of the Year” at the 2023 Asia Legal Awards. The Firm was recognized for its work advising prominent sponsors on the financing aspects of numerous market-leading transactions in the Asia-Pacific region in 2022. The Firm was also recognized for its work on several matters that were named “Deals of the Year,” including LG Energy Solution’s initial public offering in South Korea (“Securities Deal of the Year: Equity”); EQT’s $7.3 billion acquisition of Baring Private Equity Asia (“Private Equity Deal of the Year”); and the $4.3 billion take-private of 51job Inc. (“TMT Deal of the Year”).
