Carlyle Closes Ninth U.S. Real Estate Fund at Approximately $8 Billion

The Firm represented Carlyle in connection with the formation and fundraising of its ninth U.S. real estate opportunity fund, Carlyle Realty Partners IX (CRP IX), which raised close to $8 billion. CRP IX exceeded its $6 billion target and will continue to target Carlyle Realty’s opportunistic U.S. real estate investment strategy, and is a successor fund to Carlyle Realty Partners VIII (CRP VIII) which raised $5.5 billion in commitments in 2018.
