Chris Healey to Moderate D.C. Bar Panel on Practical Implications of Blockchain Technology for Funds and Investments Advisers
Corporate Associate Chris Healey will moderate a panel sponsored by the D.C. Bar’s Investment Management Committee on November 28, 2017 regarding practical implications of blockchain technology for funds and investment advisers. The panel will provide background information on the operation of blockchain technology and how it is currently being utilized, and then discuss key regulatory considerations for future applications of the technology including the security status of digital currencies and tokens and operational considerations such as custody, valuation and other SEC hot topics.
