The Firm acted as counsel for The Carlyle Group in forming a new joint venture with OppenheimerFunds. The JV will leverage Carlyle’s global credit expertise and Oppenheimer’s structuring and distribution capabilities to provide global private credit investment opportunities for high net worth investors and advisors. Its initial focus will include allocation and underwriting across investments in opportunistic credit, direct lending, distressed transactions and structured credit assets in the U.S., Europe and Asia.
